School approach changes this week
Dennis’s October 29 wastewater update schedules closure of the Trotting Park Road–Route 28 intersection during November 2–6, 2026. School traffic must reach Trotting Park Road from Old Main Street or Center Street. Sewer work is planned along Route 28 toward Route 134.
The next work window is separate
For November 9–13, the notice projects work on School Street, Allain Way, Waterside Drive, Old Jail Lane and Kelly’s Way, alongside continuing work on Old Dennis Approach and Route 28.
Normal hours are 7 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday–Friday, weather permitting. The town says schedules depend on progress and weather, with police details and signs directing traffic. Check the current update before travelling; the listed closure for this week should not automatically be extended into the later work periods.
