Restoration work completed
Sandwich will mark completion of its latest Historic Town Hall restoration with a November 12, 2026 ceremony at 1 p.m. The work included roof and portico repairs, painting, auditorium-floor refinishing and 25 reproduction sash windows.
The town’s November 5 announcement says the project combined Community Preservation Act money with municipal funding and a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant.
Where to gather
The ceremony is planned for the front steps at 130 Main Street, moving to the upstairs auditorium if it rains. Everyone is invited.
Afterward, the Sandwich Arts Alliance hosts refreshments in its Lower-Level Classroom. The notice places that room on the first floor. Check the town notice for changes before setting out.
