Work on the approaches and lights
Chatham Municipal Airport expects about 42 days of non-continuous runway closures beginning November 30, 2026. The Airport Commission’s October 31 notice covers tree removal and trimming at both approaches to runway 6-24, plus upgrades to navigation lights and the rotating beacon.
Verify each flight’s access
The notice anticipates Monday–Saturday closures, with daily changes possible. Saturday work or the length of a day’s closure might be reduced, but the airport has not promised either.
